Age Requirement
DateFace requires all members to be at least 18 years of age. As per the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, any information input by minors will be purged from our database.

Member Profiles
In order to make our service as effective and efficient as possible, DateFace asks that members to disclose certain information when creating their member profiles. This includes general information (such as your age, sex and sexual preference), demographic information (such as your zip code), and other information helpful in identifying matches. DateFace will not disclose personally identifiable information, such as your full name, address, or telephone number to other members or visitors through your profile. However, be aware that certain information (such as your photo), posted by you, may constitute personally identifiable information. We ask that all members use discretion when deciding what to include in your profile.
When signing up for a member profile, DateFace requires contact information (your email address) in order to create your profile. Your DateFace email address is separate from the original email address you submit when creating a profile, and DateFace will not disclose your original email address to any other business or individual. Should you give us permission, DateFace will use this email address to keep you informed of new offers, features, matches, or any significant changes in the service. You can opt-out of receiving these emails at any time by selecting the corresponding options on your "My Profile" page.
DateFace may also use general and demographic information provided by your member profile in order to conduct market research intended to improve the quality of our service, as well as to deliver advertising or promotional items targeted to your demographic. This information is of an aggregate nature and will not be linked to your personally identifiable information.
Information Supplied at Purchase
If you choose to become a DateFace Insider, it is necessary to collect financial information (such your credit card number and billing address) in order to process your subscription. Orders are processed through a secured system and cannot be read by others. We use this information only in the course of providing our service to you.
Information Supplied by Your Browser
DateFace uses your IP address (the series of numbers associated with your individual computer) in order to determine which areas of our site users are visiting, as well as to identify problems with our server. Your IP address does not disclose any personally identifiable information.
DateFace also uses cookies to identify traffic that comes through advertising and to provide a customized experience to individual members. Cookies are very small files placed on your computer, so that when you return to DateFace.com we can identify you. Cookies may be disabled through your browser settings, but this will also limit the functionality of the site.
Note on Public Areas
DateFace.com offers public forums and chat rooms that are available to both visitors or members. Information posted in these areas becomes public domain, and thus may be viewed by anyone using the service. Please use caution when deciding what manner of information you wish to post in these areas.
Although we do not monitor every conversation in our forums or chat rooms, we may observe general conversation trends in order to tailor these services to customer demand.
Who Has Access to This Information?
In order to provide you with positive results, the non-personally identifiable information posted in your profile is viewable by any members or visitors who happen to be using the service. DateFace.com has full access to this information, but will not alter or delete such information unless it is deemed by us to violate the terms set forth in our Code of Conduct.
The personally identifiable information that we collect is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with any outside organizations except for the purposes validating credit card information and collecting debts, or in the event that we are required by law, or deem it necessary in the process of cooperation with the law, to release such information.
Certain demographic information may be released to advertisers in an aggregate form. This information is not linked to your personally identifiable information. Any advertisements resulting from this information will be delivered to you solely through the DateFace.com service (such as through your DateFace Mailbox or banner adds on our home page).

The Service may from time to time contain links to other Internet sites and resources ("External Links"). You acknowledge that we are not responsible for, and have no liability as a result of, the availability of External Links or their contents. We suggest that you review the terms of use and privacy statement of such External Links prior to use of them.

Altering Your Information
You may alter or remove your information at any time through the settings provided on your "My Profile" page. Should you choose to cancel your account, DateFace will remove any personally identifying information stored by the site.
